I'm just not used to seeing requests for covers here, as opposed to thecoverproject.

You could also try vgboxart.net, if you get really desperate.

I made a few covers at the request of noiseredux, as well as a few other covers/labels here and there for other members.

Interesting. Then again, I somehow forgot we even had an "Archiving" section, so I guess it's no surprise I have no idea what goes on here.

I don't see it as that weird. This board is made up of collectors. Many of whom have original boxes, OR have gone through the trouble of making their own custom covers. Truth be told, I've had much greater luck with cover requests here than I have on thecoverproject forum.

Say noiseredux, how are you making covers?

I have GIMP as well, but I'm just completely lost when I open up a template. I have no idea how people break up the image and resize them for the boxes, and just make them look so damn professional.

I'd love to make my own covers for quite a few games, so I don't have to depend on other people's uploads as much, but I just can't comprehend what to do.

The cover project needs a cover making tutorial, heh. Though I bet that would be a difficult request to fill.
