Just beat Ratchet & Clank Future: Crack In Time.

Now I gotta figure out if I wanna complete it, or just move on to the next game.

Let's see...I beat Cybernator yesterday, then followed it up with S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Sky today. Not bad considering I haven't had much time to play games lately.

Just beat Castlevania. As others have reported, it gets pretty brutal toward the end. I probably fought Dracula fifty times in the last hour. Out of all of those, I think I only made it through the first phase of the fight completely unscathed once. Is there a good strategy for avoiding Dracula appearing right on top of you? I kind of got a rhythm going with moving and pausing that seemed to work pretty well, but I still managed to have him appear on top of me occasionally.

Also, has anyone here on the board ever beaten the second play-through?

Just finished LOZ: A Link to the Past. This game was as great as many have reported. I found the dungeon design particularly refreshing. I don't mind super long, in depth dungeons in the new 3d Zelda titles, but in the older, top-down games I find the lengthy dungeons (like in OOA and OOS) boring and annoying. The short, concise dungeons of ALTTP were perfect. The overworld was great too. Plenty of exploration to do, plenty of characters and enemies, and plenty of areas with different themes. Multiply that by two since you have the light world and dark world. My one complaint is the fighting controls. I can't complain too much because it is an older game where the controls were not perfected yet. I just couldn't get used to being able to move in 8 directions, while only being able to attack in four. I would constantly try to attack at an angle and miss because the sword or other weapon couldn't go that direction. The enemy would then be on top of me and I would not be able to move out of the way to attack back. Ultimately, you end up having to take a few hits and run for your life until you can get enough distance to turn around and attack back. A minor complaint and completely forgivable.

Last night I was playing Contra: The Alien Wars on GB. I had it set to EASY mode since I was struggling with NORMAL (I had admitting that, I NEVER set things to easy mode). Anyway, after I beat the third level boss, the game just reset to the opening credits. But I know there's five levels. Does anyone know if EASY mode only lets you play the first three levels, or did the game just screw up on me?

I won my first playthrough of Chrono Trigger yesterday, got ending 1. Now I've got to go and get the other 12.
