Im using the same srew driver i used to open my other PS3 controller. I got it used from GameStop so there could have been something spilled on it or something. I have been trying and still nothing.

Spilled on what? The screws?

Are the screws stripped? If they are, there's nothing getting that controller open short of hacking it to pieces.

This is one of the reasons why I fucking despise the PS3 controller. Why would you make the damn battery non-replaceable? If you make one mistake opening it that's it, you need to buy a new controller. I know it's not a problem now, but it will be eventually. I guess we can all just play them with USB cables plugged in, but that's terribly inconvenient. Sony should offer a service where they replace the batteries for free. They probably won't though, given their conduct over the YLOD issue.
