Well, it's possible, last week I found this page;

http://www.shoryuken.com/showthread.php ... e7440a51ff

Where someone explains how it works, but it's a slightly different version of the stick, so the tutorial doesn't work on my stick. That's why I'm asking here for some help...

I've got the same one, hss-07

You could see the interns of my stick on the link I provided above. I've posted there under the same name as I do here ;)

You could get it to work on psx/ps2 and then with an adapter to xbox.. .straight to xbox would be very difficult I think.

well my friend said i could have his busted alienware cyborg (ps2/usb) controller so hopefully the wire is still gewd.

ours look the same...that is to say what ever works for you will work for me. :) just make sure you don't short circuit and blow it up...

1 question tho, what does a resistor do?

I just caught these posts. My first thought was theres no way its that simple to add the other cord, i thought the first couple guys converted theres. my stick uses that third set of pins that none of yours do. It has the same model number on the back of your guy's sticks, and the same circuit board as the one on the shoryuken thread. The only pins used on that far left connector (cn3) are the top three, and then counting down from them, skip one, use the next two, and skip the bottom. total of 5 pins. I'm trying to work that connector loose, but I don't know if I've got a continuity tester here right now. The wires from that connector, and the one next to it, both route straight to the console cord. I may be able to get a pinout of this, which would be epic to say the least. I'll let you guys know what I can come up with.

EDIT: Merry christmas, heres the pinout i traced off of that third connector to the PSX cord. hope it works for you. I'm probably severly under-thinking this, im tired and it's three AM, but hopefully its a start if nothing else.

should be. no guarantee. The fact that the only wires connected to that harness go directly to the PSX plug, and that harness is unused on sautrn only sticks is a good sign. If need be i can trace the pinout of the other connector that is wired to the controller ports to make sure nothing from that one is going to the PSX. looking at all the pictures of everyones sticks, it ought be strictly wired to the saturn port.

Edit- the gnd and +5 for the psx plug are shared off the saturn wiring harness. updated original image.

Tonight I'll have the answer for you guys if it works.
skate323k137 did a great job with the pinout, now it's up to me to test it.

If it all works, I'll make a tutorial of it and post it here on racketboy in a new topic...

got a continuity tester?

(In a pinch, I use a battery, and LED, and some wire. Touch the free ends of the wire and the LED lights up) Use that to determine what pins go to what wires on your PS2 cord.
