PS2 and PS3 analog question...
The rubber on my PS3 analogs have been ripped off and it sucks to play with it for longer than 20 minutes. I have a broken PS2 controller with perfect analogs, is it possible to swap the analogs? I dont want to take them apart and it not work or mess anything up with my PS3 controller. Does anyone know if that will work?

I haven't taken apart a PS3 controller before, but I'm 90% sure it'll fit. I recently found out that the Gamecube's joystick, C-stick, and the PS1 and PS2 joysticks are all pretty the same (they fit on the same, at least) so I would be surprised to find out the PS3 was any different.

Yeah, the little rubber bits come off. Not very easily, but it can be done...they sell the rubber parts on ebay I believe.
You can also open up both controllers and pop off the sticks from the ps2 DS and switch them with the ps3.

I haven't opened a PS3 pad either, but as said, the older Sony pad analog sticks all use the same caps. If you open them up the entire plastic stick and top should slide right off easily. I've also seen replacement rubber tops at Gamestop and elsewhere. At GS they're usually on display on the edge of the checkout counter.

Just take the controller apart and the analogue 'stick' IE the entire plastic thing that sits on the potentiometer can be completely removed from the controller. Just swap them around. Shouldn't have any problems. I've be surprised if they were keyed differently.

Also here's a guide regarding the transplant of the DS3/sixaxis thumbsticks with ones from an Xbox controller S. Same principle.

Re: PS2 and PS3 analog question...
The screws are security screws so they will need a little force before they will crack and allow you to unscrew them fully. Make sure you're using the right size screw driver otherwise you might mangle the screw.
