And it was amazing. I have been listening to him for about 4 years now and this was the first time I had seen him live. Absolute perfect mix of DJ sampling and live music making. Such a great time. If you guys haven't listened to him, here's his most notable song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uKJeLG8-M5I. He tore it up on the turntables tonight, it was an absolute blast.

Hey, if you're into a lot of "70's soul meets funky hip hop" instrumental stuff.. I would highly recommend checking out El Michels Affair. I just discovered them recently and have listening to a lot of their stuff on Amazon and YouTube. Some very excellent stuff.

Check out "Sounding Out The City," as well as "Enter the 37th Chamber" which is actual re-imagined interpretations of famous Wu-Tang Clan tunes (like C.R.E.A.M., Can It Be All So Simple, Heaven or Hell, etc).
"Welcome to the circus of values!"

Currently Playing: Crysis (360), Destiny demo (PS3), Roadblasters (MAME)

Agreed. He started off the show in his "Commisioner Crotchbuttons" gag. He was wearing a blue jumpsuit, welder's mask and a sampler attached to his belt. He deftly made some impromptu rythms for us to get us warmed up. He also had a sampling deck that was overlaid with the Donkey Kong barrel screen, and he put on a mario puppet and remixed the Donkey Kong theme. Everyone went nuts. If anyone gets a chance to see him, please do it.

Saw him in Nashville a few years back right after Third Hand was released. Great show, so worth the drive up there to see him! Sadly I missed his tour this year, got a cold and was so out of it! Hope he keeps touring, want to see him again soon.
