Whatever happened to manners?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Heh, I remember the first time I had to deal with that sort of low-brow trash talk in Uncharted 2. The complete and utter beat down that followed was too good not to record.

I make about 50k/year after bonus at taco bell. Just saying. Not trying to toot my own horn and it's not something I want to do for the rest of my life but it's a fairly lucrative industry, at least moreso than most think.

That's kind of a depressing statistic, considering I know some working professionals who make less than that. I assume you're in some kind of management position?

no, not at all. just joking...too much Bevis and Butthead. I don't game online cause I don't have time enough to get good enough. and honestly I'd prefer not to get into social situations with jerks. I know everybody out there isn't a jerk but there seems to be no shortage.

not that they were jerks but I got a bit weirded out when strangers showed up in my pod in LBP. they weren't talking smack or anything, in fact I really don't know how to chat in game. and if I did there's no way I could do it fast enough to have a conversation anyway.

anyway...no
Ocelot, did it again...sorry Boss !

yeah, i am. i've also got 5 years management experience in a semi-retail industry so that helps.

i still don't make as much as a garbage man, though. which is awesome/depressing.

I would kill (not really, just an expression) for 50k to manage a Taco Bell... in Indy no less.

I drive thru Circle City ALOT, and have over a decade of foodservice industry experience, so I know what to look for. If your store is off of 465 post the location here, and i'll stop by and call corporate with a positive review...... unless they screw my order up.

YUM! Brands is fairly generous to their employees.

If corporate could get their shit together, they'd be even more generous. Lots of family ties that prevent that from happening.
