Now might be a good time to buy Nippon Ichi games and such.

There operating profit fell over 97%. Its a shame, I love that they keep it old school and some of the games they put out are really good. Although they do need to need to come out with something new and stop the rehashes. Anyways heres the link. http://kotaku.com/5464948/nippon-ichi-s ... nt-be-good I like their games and the Nippon Ichi store, http://www.rosenqueen.com/ has some really cool stuff. I just picked up this wicked awesome top from there. http://www.rosenqueen.com/product.php?p ... 246&page=1

Well, most of their games appeal to certain niches, without one that can cover a wide audience. My bros did love the FFT series, but they weren't into Phantom Brave.

That's a cryin shame. They've released some great games over the years. It's definitely niche stuff though, catering to the anime and SRPG enthusiast.

Perhaps I'll have to pick up some Ar Tonelico games before the prices skyrocket. Also, I hope they still plan to release Sakura Wars: So Long, My Love in March. I might have to buy it new since it's going to be quickly hard to find.

I've always liked NIS; I thought they were essentially an up-and-coming Atlus because they released all of these great niche RPGs. Plus they've made some of the best sRPGs I've ever seen, period. Too bad that didn't translate to commercial success, but it's better to die young than fade away.

Man, that sucks. Ever since I beat Disgaea, I've been buying all the NIS games I've interested in new, so I can support the company. It's been a bad year for a lot of game developers, especially RPG producers. Even Namco lost a fair share of sales this year, which a lot of fans blame on poor sales of Tales of Graces.

I never was a big fan of NIS, mainly because of the grinding involved in their games. Also, Phantom Brave's world is the only one so far I haven't wanted to save.

3% of last years profit is still a profit. It's not like net revenue fell 97%.

But anyway, what can you recommend from them for the DS or PSP? Those are the only two current consoles I own.
