Yeah, they are paying more for it because it's in a box. And pnt has a database that lists how much to pay, or sell for a game. It's the same one they use at Bookmans ( a local bookstore that is actually half retro video games. They have about 30 dreamcasts behind a glass door). PnT isn't really that smart. They were selling secret of mana not complete for like 54 bucks.
Yeah, PnT is kind of dumb with prices; perhaps to an even greater extent than Gamestop. They'll overprice just about any Square/Enix RPG to ridiculous levels.

But their pricing stupidity can also work in favor of the consumer sometimes, so I don't really hold it against them. I picked up a gray wavebird for $15 and a Dreamcast DreamBlaster gun for $5 at my Play N Trade.
Yeah, but in all honesty, i value play n trade as much as i value gamestop. They both have pretty crappy prices, but play n trade has retro games. Gamestop usually has a bunch of jerks working there, but they accepted a job application while pnt didn't for some reason. they were just like nahh, we dont want to hold this on file. Neither of them have people that know anything about games, except halo.
