"No Russian" is the best level in the game I like to knife the guys crawling from me Just remember, its a game, you cant take it serious.

We say that, but we also expect others to respect games an artistic medium. Mindless violence, thats one thing: Doom is like our version of a movie like Commando (unrealistic 80s Action movies). I find it hard to find any redeeming facets from premeditated murder of civilians in a more serious title based in present day. But this is probably why I did not enjoy the Grand Theft Autos.

Really though, All I can see with modern warfare is a medium to get people interested and to join the military.

You can't kill the russian guy (I forgot the name of him now), you can't kill his operatives. You get to the end and he just shoots you in the end. Um... point? Really? The game would be no different if they had said 'some russian guy shot up an airport and blamed it on the Americans, now he's some russians with weapons to shoot in the face'.

I've already spoke my mind about this, I personally don't have any feelings about shooting digital people, its not like there going to the great Mushroom Kingdom in the sky all because you decide to take a life of the lifeless.

Dude in GTA you can steal a car, pick up a hooker, pay her for sex, have sex, kill her in NUMEROUS ways, take your money back, and be on your merry way.

I don't know that just seems "worse" to me. And actually that's why I won't play GTA. That's not fun to me. If it you don't like a game don't play it. There are a ton of games that I think are crap that I just don't play.

And to bring Columbine into this is silly. Those guys were bitter, angry, and hateful. Regardless of the games they played, I seriously doubt that those games pushed them over the edge and drove them to do what they did.

I agree with you about the way the direction some games are taking, though. When an original idea can't be thought of it seems that the default is to throw in more blood, more nudity, and more profanity to spice things up. I wouldn't be surprised if Madden 2021 has spiked shoulder pads, bomb implanted footballs, and an optional after game "party" with the cheerleaders.

I did I liked shooting downed civilians with it and it bounces off their faces and kills them
