Yeah, the album just seems to take a dump with that song. It's just a generic slow paced Death Metal song with nothing special. The songs I suggested are faster.
but like I said, death metal's not normally my thing.
Yeah, to me alot of regular Death Metal is just bland. (though, I am getting some recommendations for Death Metal that isn't boring like Unleashed and Entombed)

When I do listen to Death Metal, it's usually Blackened Death Metal (Destroyer 666 and God Dethroned) and Melodic Death Metal. You know, stuff with flavor. ;)

Something with this album just stood out to me, though. It's kind of like how I don't like JRPGs, but I love SMRPG. (I beaten it three times, unlocking everything)

QuickEDIT: Age of Satan, Age of Tribulation is on their MySpace. I'll see if I can find streams of the other two songs I recommended.

Haha, I actually checked their MySpace right before you edited that link, so I'm listening to it now. You're right, it's definitely better...vaguely reminds me of Doom for some reason.

I had a hard time finding streams for their songs. These guys aren't even on Last.fm! :o Ironically, I found all of their songs on FreeNapster of all places.

The game? A lot of Metal bands have that effect on me.

I downloaded Gama Bomb's album from their site. Damn, this is some good stuffz. It's like a fusion of 80's Anthrax and Metal Church.

Damn straight. I reckon a few kids of the current 10-15 year old generation could use a damn good flogging from time to time. Might straighten the little turds out.

Yes, Heaven & Hell is an awesome album. I was fortunate to see Dio several times in concert 20+ years ago.

Dio-led Sabbath was between the two eras (Ozzy & Gillan).

I got to see the Dio-era Sabbath reunion last year (touring as Heaven & Hell). The show was such a blast, and Dio is a much better frontman than Ozzy in my opinion. The opening act was this slow very heavy metal band, so all the young kids were really getting into it, and all the middle age fans who saw Dio back when he first came around were going o_O.
