Some Sundays I would like to spend the day playing games. On the other hand, my wife would like to get cozy on the couch and watch movies. Life is all about balance. I have to remind myself of this often.

My wife sleeps in on Saturdays, and for me, Saturday mornings were made for gaming. It works out very, very well.

Buy a few games, hardware that are worth a lot. I bought Gamecube PSO for $4.99 at Gamestop.

Wife - "You bought another game? Don't you already have that on that Dreamcast machine!"

Husband - "That game right now goes for $184.66 on Amazon."

Wife - "So are you going to sell it?"

Husband - "Think of it a stock portfolio for the kids, when they are our age imagine how much this stuff will be worth .............."

While she dwells on that I can keep the game, man I hope she doesn't read this post ................

Im not married, but my last girlfriend was a casual gamer so all was good. The one before her was staunchly anti gaming though. She considered it childish and got on me for buying a game, Mario Galaxy I think, when I could have taken her out to a fancy dinner. The fact that I bought the game with money I saved by skipping lunch for a month didnt seem to matter, any money spent on games was wasted. We broke up shortly after I broke down the cost analysis: Galaxy lasted me 20 hours or so for the two playthroughs and thus was a $2.50 for each hour of entertainment. But when I took her out to see a very good production of the Tempest the break down was something like $20 an hour. I know that is not a fair comparison but she got REALLY upset with me.

Ohwell, since I am currently girlfriendless I can send more money to Breetai and Mad-Gear...

I wish. Actually it was much worse than the production of the Merchant of Venice we saw a couple weeks prior to that, and cost six times as much.

For a country boy I know a surprising amount about plays and stage productions. Sadly Ive yet to find a girl who enjoys the same ones I do. Antigone, Aresnic and Old Lace, Harvey, and The Importance of Being Earnest. Come on they are all solid plays, but most woman hate atleast three of them? Ok I can understand hating Antigone, but the other three. Come now.

And besides we all know that Sinistar would be a better match for The Tempest...
