Many games reward success, but very few punish failure. Off the top of my head, the only one I can think of is that old gameshow on FX hosted by Bobcat Goldthwait.

There's an arcade game by SNK called the Irritating Maze. You have to guide a ball through a maze. If you touch the wall, then the game zaps you with an electric shock, blasts a loud obnoxious noise, and a pumps out a gust of stale and stinky warm air in your face.

Today's my mom's brithday, too. But right now, she's at the hospital (an hour away) cuz Grandma broke a rib.

It's also Brent Spiner's b-day 2day. They've been doing a 12-hour ST:TNG marathon on Syfy.
