No More Heroes (1) thoughts...

Post by Incognito D »

I'm playing this game through on Bitter just now and a few things have crossed my mind.

- When you fail a mission why is there no 'retry' option? I hate when games do this. If you fail a mission or want to try again for the medal you have to go all the way back across town to the K entertainment building.

- Free fights are even worse - the mission icon disappears and you can't try again for like 15 minutes.

Why do they do this?? It's completely broken.

- Not to mention that the free fights are some of the most frustrating rage-inducing battles ever in the history of a game. Guys with guns shooting you from a distance the split second you let your gaurd down.

Don't get me wrong, I like this game, but if they'd fixed these aspects it would have been better. Anyone with me?

Fixed in NMH2.

Fixed in NMH2 by reducing the frequency of gun guys by a lot. And the ones that still exist can be outranged easily, or can be focused on and die due to very low health.

I agree fully. NMH2 is better than the first one.

Same here. I hate the missions and if you fail, you can't do it over again.

I really want to try out NMH2, but still haven't gotten very far in the first one. For me, the biggest gripe is earning money between missions. Sure, the minigames are fun, but they get tedious after a while.
