SNES Emulation Community

Post by 8bit »

*edited for the moderators*

Ok, so I was going thru some of the posts with links to emulator sites, etc.... and I was disappointed to not see my all time favorite site for roms and isos. For those who have never been to this site before I hope this helps you. It has a huge catalog of games and has a great community!

At the bottom of the forum there is a section called "trade post". If you go to this and the section "Master Lists". If you continue forward, you are going to find a complete .iso game catalog of PS1, PS2, Saturn, Dreamcast, SNES, NeoGeo CD, Xbox, Gamecube and more.

The sites name is undisclosed for the purposes of protecting the forum. You may PM or email me if you wish to discuss any other details.

Been getting most of my ISOs from this site for a while now. Great lists that the community pulled together.

Im glad to see someone else is in the know. I hope to hear about lots of ppl getting very excited to find this site. It is absolutely the best even though you have to deal with megaupload limits, etc. :D

Quite a large number of members here use Snesorama, well are least it seems that way from the irc chat. Most early disc based systems dont have a better and faster location than it.

Just so you know it is wrong in your title, there is a 'o' in there.

I definitely love this site. It was one of the first places I would check for disc-based games because they have such a wide selection. It is also helpful that there are generally mirrors of the download in case the first goes down. :)

The only problem was that it's a little cumbersome to deal with lots of Megaupload/Rapidshare/etc links if you don't have premium accounts (since of course they'll impose a download limit and all).

I frequently use Snesorama for all my emulation needs. Also I have a membership to xboxisozone.com, were I can download files at blazing speed. You dont have to buy a membership there but the download speed is considerable slower if you dont. They also have dcisozone.com, gcisozone.com, and a couple of more. Membership gives you access to all there sites for $6.00 a month.

Just a tip, in case you, or anyone reading isnt aware. The files on Snesorama are split into 100mb files and as stated they do have download limits. I use the program jdownloader. All you do is highlight the links, copy and it sends it to the jdownloader program, and it does the rest.

No, posting links to iso and rom simtes is a no-no, at least for me.

All it leads to is bad things and you should just tell people via PM's, e-mail, or to search google for the stuff, not link directly to the host site.

Post links is ok, on the proper forum. This should have been posted in the Download forum.

But like it was said, most of us know about Snesorama already - it was the only place I could get a working copy of Pirates for some reason - but good looking out.
