Japanese Saturn eBay auction with lots of games...

Post by wip3outguy7 »

Not my auction so I'm posting it here instead of buy/sell/trade.

Included is a Japanese Saturn, 4 backup cartridges, SNK ram card for Samurai Shodown, 1 controller, cables to hook up and 32 loose games. Hobie-wan and I were able to make out titles like Snatcher, Sakura Taisen, Tetris Plus, Myst, Riven, Blue Seed, Dark Savior, Martian Successor Nadesco, Magic Knights Rayearth, etc...

Listing is buy-it-now for $55 US. It's a Japanese seller so shipping is going to be murder. EMS is quoted at $91 US.

This would be a good auction pool together on.

No such thing. It's just a general 1MB RAM expansion cart, good for any SNK games aside from KoF '95.

Discoloured white Saturns are :| .

Damn, that looks awesome. If only I hadn't just bought a Jaguar, I would snatch up this deal as fast as my mouse could click.

Won this ebay lot today:

A Japanese Saturn (CIB), 3D Pad (CIB), 2 official memory carts (1 CIB), and 32 CIB games for $122.55 shipped.

I think it's a better deal than that other auction.

Also, the seller said the system has to be used with a stepdown converter in the US. Is this true?

It doesn't come with a power cord, so would any US cord work or do I have to get a Japanese cord?

Not true.

He couldn't spend the extra hundred yen or so to throw in a power cord? Give me his address so I can go to his place and give him a bitch slap. Anyway, any cord will work just fine. I'm pretty sure a regular old Playstation cord will fit (although I can't remember for sure).

Great, all I need is a power cord and an s-video cable from ebay. The seller is located in the US btw.
