Things that only a collector could love.

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Good grief.

I guess people are free to spend money on what makes them happy, but really? $150?

I don't know about you guys, but if I'm going to spend money on gaming, I want something I can PLAY.

The winner is one of those guys who likes to do expensive purchases than play fort inside the empty box ............

I wonder how much I would get for my wife's empty shoe boxes.

She has a lot of them, let me see 100 a box .............

Then that person is a retard and needs to learn to read.

I do know about those people selling PSP, Xbox 360, Wii and PS3 boxes for the same price as the console, because of the stupid people who thought it was the actual console while each and every time the description had the following lines:

"You are NOT bidding on a (the video game console) but merely it's EMPTY BOX. This auction is for an EMPTY BOX made for an (insert video game console). This box DOES NOT contain a (video game console)."

It's kind of sad, makes you feel sorry for the dumb people.

It's not just one person. There were at least 8 different bidders. I would find it hard to believe that all of them thought they were getting the sega cdx as well.

It's mind boggling that someone would pay that much for the packing material.

LOL! There's a vintage game shop by my house that keeps this and Shaq-Fu in their own separate glass case display. The price tags read "priceless".

I seriously can't believe someone would pay $150 for just a box. I'm sure they knew what they were buying.... but damn thats a lot for just a beat up box.

On a separate note, I remember when the PS3 came out there were a few ppl getting scammed for just the box.

It happened when the PS2 came out. And the N64. It's one of the older scams. Sadly, it works.
