Good point, but I'm sure there are tons of indie shmups with iffy music. Speaking of which I was hoping for more suggestions of said games.

Ikaruga had some pretty amazing intro music to all of its levels as well as outro music when you win.

Eienhander was just awesome.

Raident Silvergun also is like Ikaruga with some fun tracks.

Hell yes! Every one of the tracks in this game is astounding. My favorite song is Evasion, the song that plays in Stage 4A. It's just sounds Heroic and it pushes the game forward.
