IRC

Hello,

I just want to know if people still use those IRC's , I love chat rooms because its so nostalgic for me you dont see them any more, it used to be THE PLACE to go to on the internet and to discuss stuff, I guess forums replaced them.

I hardly hear any one use those any more. Personally I never had luck on public chat rooms especially IRC, whenever enter a room no one talks to me even though there is like 500 people in there, or people reply negatively.

I really never got those server and what to connect to, dalnet and starnet and whatever, there was always 100 million chat rooms that will load forever.
Can you share experiences on IRC?
