region mod genesis carts?

just curious if anyone know if it's possible to region mod a sega genesis/mega drive cart - can it be done? a quick google search left me with no answers. it'd be nice to avoid using the game genie all the damn time, if possible

Don't know about modding the cart, but modding the system is fairly straight forward.

yeah, no way i'm gonna mod my cdx though. not even sure if i can be done, it's so small!
