Spent the last 3.5 hours doing what had to do - moved the board to the other side of the controller, adjusted the battery compartment, quartered the d-pad, made a new holder for the tact switches, removed previous way to hold buttons in place for perspex backing.

Result is that buttons press easily and properly now. Just tested, all works. Out of time today, tomorrow will cut hole in back of case for the battery to be inserted into, then close the case up.

This project has taken a lot longer than anticipated, no problem, enjoyed it!

Hope to have this finished tomorrow, have 3.5 hours again to play with before going to work again.

How can I connect multiple bluetooth devices to one laptop simultaniusly? I bought a Motorola bluetooth earpiece with it's bluetooth USB transmitter. Then I bought a bluetooth mouse for bluetooth laptops. Now, I can use only one at a time. When I am using my earpiece, I can't discover the mouse. I have to disconnect from the earpiece first. Same goes for the mouse.
Is this come configuration limitation, a driver limitation or is it a limitation of the bluetooth technology?

No idea, and also this isn't relevant to the thread!

Anapan is very knowledgeable about bluetooth, shoot him a PM; I am sure if anyone knows the answer he will.

I just assumed he was a spambot, but incase he's actually real;
Firstly you're in the wrong forum - the tech help forum would've been the right place to ask.
I'd guess it's a driver issue. You might be able to get Widcomm's stack to work on your laptop which would probably sort the problem out.
Either that or it's a problem with your laptop's speed/resources if it's old. Bluetooth audio can use a lot of resources if your headset asks for super-high quality. Usually it just makes for static-like interference if your laptop can't keep up with the sound and other devices simultaneously. Without some more detailed information on your hardware I can't help any further.
What Bluetooth stack are you using?
What operating system?
What's your laptop's make and model?
What are your headset and mouse models?

Bacteria: I'm still gonna make that video, I just keep forgetting!

samiya - See, told you Anapan knows his stuff! He's a great guy and a wealth of knowledge!

Anapan - Great, looking forward to your video!

BTW - question for you my friend - when playing a game on PC and you press a key, there is a short delay between its first register and then multiple registers. This is very annoying in some flash type games, and was also an issue I had with the Bluetooth controller I made for you - controller worked fine as it mimicked the keyboard issue too. What is the best way to make a key work responsively enough on the keyboard? I am sure the answer is a simple one!

I never had that problem. As far as the operating system is concerned it's a serial keyboard. In text boxes it does the delay then key repeat, but other programs I tried it in all register a keypress as being held down until I let go of the pad button.
If you're working on the other MSI pad you might want to try this program so you can see and hear the results of your button presses.
