My Collection/Game Room on Page 3 *UPDATE* 12-10-2011

Post by bladerunner »

**Update starts on page 3**

Ok, so I am currently living in a small apartment temporarily while my wife and I find a house. Until then, my small collection is scattered about. I have nevertheless decided to post some pictures of what I have. I have only been seriously collecting for about a year, so with that in mind, here we go!

First up is my entertainment center. Here you can see my 42" Toshiba Regza and my DVD collection. You can also see my 360 Elite, hard modded Xbox, N64 (the wife LOVES that system), Blu-Ray player and HD-DVD player.

Next up are pics of my 360 games.

Next up is my small N64 collection:

My SNES games:

Toy Story is glared out:

I just started my PS2 collection and this is what I have so far:

I also just started up a PS1 collection. Time Crisis Project Titan is on the way and thus not shown.
Image

My small Dreamcast collection. These are mostly games I owned originally, though I sold many of my DC titles years ago. I am attempting to build that collection back up. I still need to pick up Shenmue, I just haven't gotten around to it yet.
Image

Sega CD collection. I got most of this for Christmas. I am hoping for Snatcher soon. For now I get by with a burned copy.

Saturn games:

My pride and joy:

Extra Saturn and accessories my friend gave me:

Only boxed Genesis games I have. Looking to build this up substantially too.

Loose Genesis:

The only survivors of my Xbox sell off. I should rebuild this as well, but it is a low priority.

Virtual Boy with Wario Land, Red Alarm and some Japanese golf game.

PC games:

Few more PC games:

My boxed NES and a few other things:

"The Pit". One day I will have a sweet setup, but not this day. In this mess is one of my Saturns, one of my SNESs, Dreamcast, PS2, and Gen/SCD.
Image

And just for fun, a Gears of War Lancer I picked up at FYE on clearance for just $50! I couldn't say no!

Thanks for looking. Maybe one day I'll have a kickass collection and nice setup.

Trust me, that's already a pretty sweet collection. I'm envious of some of the SNES games you've got that I don't have. A couple of questions:

1. Is that History Channel game actually any good? I've seen them in stores but never played one.

2. How much do you like Operation Winback? I've been considering looking into it off and on for the last couple of years, but my N64 collection isn't my biggest priority right now.

Hey, a vinyl Babo on the TV stand! Babo's my favorite, even though Ice Bat is my avatar!

Also, more ugly-related stuff on the shelves. Awesome.

The game in the picture is Civil War Secret Missions. Its ok. I am a big Civil War buff as well as a reenactor, so I couldn't pass it up. Probably just worth a rental. The other History Channel Civil War game, A Nation Divided is atrocious. Secret Missions has a similar setup, but with much smoother controls and slightly better level design. So skip A Nation Divided, rent Secret Missions.

I love Winback. It has its short comings, but is a pretty good 3rd person shooter, especially for its time. I got it for a few bucks so it was worth it. I would like to check out the PS2 version as well as the sequel, though I hear the sequel was not so great.

I'm completely jealous of the Stay Puft and The Real Ghostbusters box set that I wish I wasn't too cheap to buy!

I actually do play on it. And recently too. But you are right, it deserves better. I'll bust out a little Endust and take care of it.
