Games that made you so angry you didn't finish them?

Most of the time I finish my games. If I do quit one it's because I lose interest or don't have the time. Sometimes games I have every intention of finishing though, piss me off so bad I throw them to the curb.

I just put away Afro Samurai most likely for good due to it's poorly designed, cheap ass boss fights. I was pulling my hair out at times.

There was also Culdcept Saga about a year back, which has an AI opponent with extremely unfair luck. I could play the most perfect hands in the match, and he would still manage to win. Ten tries at an hour and a half each? Sorry, but it's the garbage bin for life at that point.

I know there are some others, I just can't think of them off the top of my head.

the first God of War when it came out pissed me off till no extent, im currently replaying it in the collection for PS3, this time ill beat it. I WILL

Theres been a couple for me - mostly due to glitches not so much do to innate cheapness. Pokemon Pearl did this to me last year when I got to the last fight and he wouldnt talk to me to initiate the fight.

Silent Hill Homecoming infuriated me but maybe that was the rabid fanboy inside me having an issue with how the new iteration of my favorite series had come out... It was just a very simplistic game and the combat was supremely odd to me. Combat has never been a strong point of the series, but these battles made me want to throw my controller at the wall. Just thinking about finishing that damn game makes me angry all over again.

I hated Homecoming and despite a bunch of glitches loved SH: Shattered Memories. Kind of strange that I didn't have more issue with the glitchy game. I can't really think of anything else at the moment... but there are definitely other games that have pissed me off lol.

I simply can't beat the ninja gaiden series for nes without savestate cheating. I hate those fricken eagles!

Frustration usually fuels me. Odin Sphere regularly had me swearing at my TV as I tried to beat Belial with Velvet. Generally the reason I don't finish a game is that I've lost the drive too, but it rarely is that the game got me so angry. Usually it's that I look at the cost in time and effort it would take me to get past said point and I feel it's not worth it. I only get angry when I genuinly want to do something but the controls or system frustrate my attempts to do so.

Final Fight Streetwise good game but it has the most annoying boss fight at the end and i did not feel like going through with it.

Because it's like this you have to fight a guy that wont get knocked down while another guy shoots grenades at you. So i figure i can get the grenades to work in my favor. Sure enough the guy goes down. But then the grenade shooter comes down and heals the other one.

So thats the idea knock out the annoying brick of a man so that you can get a few hits on the grenade guy. However this scenario is just so stupid considering the guy shooting grenades at you is just on a ledge you should be able to hit him in the legs or climb up to him.

And after several tries i just figured there is no way im going to dignify this poor excuse for difficulty with effort.

I was just trying to play the last level of Hook on my Sega CD, and I simply cannot beat it. The fact that you lose all your health power-ups after a continue makes it unplayable. If there were a cheat device for the sega cd, I would not hesitate to use it.
