I'm sooo not ready for kids...

Inazuma, the funny thing is that your know it all attitude and inability to even remotely consider the view or opinion of anyone else is exactly what makes you the most like a Scientologist. You seem more like Tom Cruise (going around like you know it all and everyone else is an idiot) than most people I have ever encountered. It's funny the things we hate the most in life often turn out to be our own shortcomings.

Your beliefs are so set in stone and misguided that you may as well start up your own cult/religion because it is nearly impossible for anyone to make an inch of headway in a discussion with you.

I'm not sure that I share the opinion that you can make a rational or reasonable argument on your own behalf about anything but I would like to see it happen one day. The thing that scares me the most is if you are honest about your age because if you were a 15 year old kid I could forgive some of the headstrong garbage you vomit up.

Hell yeah. Where do I donate? What do I have to do to atone for playing with Sony consoles these past six years?

Not sure how this all ended up in a discussion about religion, and it's probably not worth my time to do all the back reading.

Back on topic.

I had a dream that my wife was pregnant, with twins. And unfortunately not these twins*.

When I wake up, my wife was complaining about feeling "weird", and she has scheduled a doctors visit for 3pm today. She's on the pill, but we all probably know someone who has gotten pregnant while on it.

*Never do a google image search for "twins" with the filter off. Well, unless you enjoy images of topless Olsen twins, then you are in luck.

So since it was a dream she could still be pregnant with Arnold and Danny?

Well, good luck. Whichever way you would consider lucky. I never know whether to offer congratulations or condolences to (potential) new parents.

After reading this thread it shows me how young this fourm really is. Until you have a child you have no idea the overwhelming emotional feeling towards a human being you can have. It's unlike anything you can experience from a wife or a parent, at times it's so overwhelming it can take your breath away and you had no idea how much you could truly love something.

I agree even though I don't have a child yet. I always say that the child might not forgive the parent, but the parent will always forgive the child.

That's just evolution playing tricks on you. The rational thing to do, if you value your happiness, and this is backed up by science is to not have kids. Parents are decidedly not rational, as we can all see by the power of "think of the children" reasoning.

But to each his own. I'll personally be glad when your child's taxes are helping support me in my dotage. And when they work for low wages keeping my prices down. I figure I'll be long gone by the time the population bubble bursts anyway, so have at it.

I hope nothing ever bad happens to you so you don't have to see why loving relatives are important. or something lightly bad does happen to you so you DO see when it's not too late.
