I found one of these locally. It looks great and just like the Saturn Stunner but how well does it function? Accuracy?

Re: Dreamcast SRC Bio Gun
Eh. If the price is right I'll go ahead and pick it up for the novelty.
Re: Dreamcast SRC Bio Gun
How much did it set you back? I could only find one on ebay and it was ass expensive.
Re: Dreamcast SRC Bio Gun
Looks like a very good lightgun.
A side note. I just personally confirmed that the Dreamcast 3rd party Lightguns do work on a CRT VGA monitor.
House of the Dead in 640x480 resolution!
Still wondering has anyone tried Dreamcast Lightgun with VGA on a CRT HD TV? VGA input or Component to VGA Transcoder setup?
I did an extensive read on link below, any inputs please add to it:

Re: Dreamcast SRC Bio Gun
Yeah, thats my sorta my question too? I have heard that the DC Light Guns need a Tube Television to work....
Not 100% sure though.
Right now---- I'm using 2 Large CRT Computer Monitors with my Dreamcast, and I WANT to know if the Light Guns work with Computer Monitors.
Anyone Confirm these questions?

DC Lightgun needs a Tube (CRT) TV or if you use a Computer CRT Monitor DC Lightgun works with VGA adapter.DCbrotha wrote:Yeah, thats my sorta my question too? I have heard that the DC Light Guns need a Tube Television to work....Not 100% sure though.

Re: Dreamcast SRC Bio Gun
Official Sega Dreamcast guns will work with your NTSC console itself, but they will NOT work with NTSC light gun games. The games released in the US will recognize the Sega gun and display an error screen stating that that peripheral is disabled. Only 3rd party guns will function with US released Dreamcast lightgun games. BTDT.
If you can play import light gun games on your console then you'll have no problems using a Sega gun as far as I know.
You may recall that the Dreamcast was available at the time of the Columbine shootings in Colorado. Sega was concerned about bad press and thus did not release a 1st party gun in the US and also disabled the use of their guns in all US released games for Dreamcast.

Ow! My small intestine!
Re: Dreamcast SRC Bio Gun
Above statement is true, but no worries since the Official Sega brand Dreamcast Lightguns were not sold in the US market. Interact, Mad Catz, Bio Gun all work fine. The Mad Catz version displays "Official Licensed Product" sponsored by Sega as replacement US market gun.Scooter wrote:Official Sega Dreamcast guns will work with your NTSC console itself, but they will NOT work with NTSC light gun games. Re: Dreamcast SRC Bio Gun
Yeah, the Bio Gun was always sweet looking. I have not seen any for sale in forever though. Most other DC guns looked like crap IMHO.
