It seems to randomly reset itself now. The worst instance happened a few days ago when it just kept resetting over and over until I shut if off.

Overheating maybe? Make sure it has adequate ventilation and the vents are not clogged with dust. Have you tried a different power supply?

Is the power switch loose? I've seen that before. Even a vibration can trigger the switch on some systems.

Ya, you may want to open it up and give it a good cleaning; I've never really heard of a problem like this but it could be dust build-up around the power/reset switches.

Hmm, thanks everyone. A cleaning and maybe a new power cord, I'll look into that
