Actually, I'll probably take little part in the naming of my children. As long as they don't end up with a trendy name, I'm cool with it.

Yeah, I don't think Luke had a daughter, just a son named Ben.Luke wrote:Good point.ZeroAX wrote:why? you are called Luke not Annakin

I'm a Star Wars nut, but never got into the EU. Well, if I'm on a long road trip, I will listen to a Star Wars book on cd.fastbilly1 wrote:Yeah its EU. Luke marries Mara Jade and has Ben many years down the road:

Tales of the Empire is also fantastic. Tales of the New Republic is a mixed bunch.fastbilly1 wrote:I highly suggest the Jedi Academy Trilogy and the Tales of xxx books. The Jedi Academy books were my absolute favorites out of the EU I read (which was a large chunk of the post Return of the Jedi that was out around 2000. The Tales of books, specifically the Cantina, are the best books in the EU period. The stories were solid enough that even with out the Star Wars pedigree they could stand on their own. Jabbas Palace, Cantina, and Bounty Hunters - all good.
Thrawn Trilogy. It was the first series after the big lull that came after Jedi and before the EU really surged in popularity, which was in many ways thanks to this book. The first book is Heir to the Empire, then comes Dark Force Rising and The Last Command. Also since it's the first the writing only assumes you've seen the original trilogy.Luke wrote:I need to ease my way into the EU.
First book suggestion?
