I use Linux for work, but I'm no where near at the level of figuring out how to get something like ScummVM working in a configuration like you mentioned. But I had the same thought; if Ubuntu isn't working try another flavor.

I would take that as a compliment.

I've just started studying Linux 101. Basics like partitions and the primary steps of writing code. Also just wrapped up some courses on SQL. Don't know if it will help me in the wrong long, but "kaizen" never hurts.

I hate using business jargon, sorry bout that.

In my department "kaizen" is another word for "an excuse to write bad code quickly".

Some, not the majority but a good chunk, of my friends in LA say that Scientology is nothing but a cult to help hide homosexual relationships. I've no clue to what actually goes on with Scientology, but I do know it's helped a lot of actors who seem super gay to find a woman to love them. And what I do about Scientology is limited, because people in Scientology don't want you to know unless you pay them.
Like all other religions, Scientology thinks being gay is bad. Of course it's because they would like scientolgists to have lots of kids, which would lead to making their wallets fatter.

I've been bisexual my whole life but it wasn't until a few years ago I realized it. Scientology and society in general caused me to suppress my gay side most of my life.

You can't be gay and religious. It's one or the other.
People do, I did for a short while before letting go of religion completely(for unrelated reasons). Not all religions are against homosexuality though, just all the major ones and many of the lesser ones. =p

But yeah, you're cynical to the point where you're making inaccurate rash generalizations, which is the opposite of "seeing things clearly".

fastbilly1 wrote:Luke, if I can get this whole shebang working, Ill build you one too - at cost of course.

The goal is, push the button and it boots into Scummvm. The problem is I cant get a suitable version of linux to install on it. All Ubuntu's past 5.04 crash after the bootloader for unknown reasons, and 5.04 cant run Scummvm. Ill get it working eventually.
Have you tried Gentoo?
