A Gameboy Color, with Wario Land II and Pocket Bomberman.

If you don't count handhelds, a N64 with Super Mario 64, Extreme-G and Crusin' USA

The NES was my first video game system after begging my parents to death to buy me one. It took me months to convince my Dad that it did not mess up the tv screen before he gave in and finally bought it. It took another 20 years for him to admit that he was wrong and tease him about it often when ever I see a video game controller in his hand.

Atari 400, Is that a game system?

Post by Mega-Dan »

Atari 400, is that even a game system? I remember playing games on it anyways. I remember having it for a very short time before we got rid of it, it was a piece of crap, it had a membrane keyboard that hurt your fingers to use. We replaced it with the Atari 800, which rocked! I remember Bruce Lee and Jumpman and MULE, those games still rock!

The Atari before the 2700 or 2600 and the atari 2600 or 2700. Good times and hard games. Et, Indiana Jones, and some weird RPG game that requires the game manual to beat where the games that I just never could beat.

Lock n chase, Towering Inferno, Mountin King, Kangaroo, Adventure, Rampage, Double dragon, Splat, Yars revenge, Missle comand, Food Fight, and Hounted House are just a few of my favorete games. My system still kicks. I just need a screw driver to get it started. I dont have any working controlers but my sega controler works for the atari just fine.

Sad story though, ms pac man and a bunch of other cool games left town with the so called friend who borrowed them from me. SOB - IF YOUR READING THIS YOU BASTURD, I STILL REMEMBER and I WANT THEM BACK > _ <

My older brother had an Atari 2600 and started my love for video games. Pitfall, Riverraid, Beserk, Yars Revenge, Combat, Warlords, oh the memories.
But my first gaming system was the Sega Master System. Oh the fun I had with Hang-on and Safari Hunt. The first game I ever bought with money I saved, why Alex Kidd in Miricale World of course!
=====================
I rather be playing video games.

I can't believe no one has mentioned moon patrol in all this atari talk. I used to play moon patrol on 2600 for hours at my friends house. (Which was revived in one of the most childhood ruining articles ever on SA. http://www.somethingawful.com/features/moonpatrol/ )

BBC micro B, well it was not a console but all we used it for games. Elite and repton rocked. Chukie egg was also pretty dam cool

Wanted loads but my parents did not see the point in consoles, so I had to save up and buy my own, I managed to get a game gear after a year of saving. Loved it to bits :)
