You could, but you wouldn't have the save data from the previous episode. Unless you have a programmer and didn't mind flashing the save data to the next cart. Also, the game hasn't been extensively tested on real hardware yet.

I thought to put it on my Tototek flash cart because of the way the SRAM works on it. I think the next episode would be able to read the save data on the Tototek cart. But, each episode's ROM is 4MB so all four wont fit. I'd be able to put only 2 episodes at a time on the Tototek cart. I just finished playing through the second part, so I might try and put the third and fourth part on the cart and see if it works.

You should, it is awesome. You can download them on this page...

Just scroll past the emulation info to Game Downloads. Official Week 1, 2, 3 and 4 are what you want. They are pre-patched.

Yes, I've been playing it in ZSNES. You might also want to check out BS Zelda "Third Quest." It's the first BS Zelda that they restored to make it just like the original NES game. So for all intents and purposes, it's a 16 bit remake of the original game. It's complete, too. You can put it on a backup unit, flash cart, or repro cart!

I know, I know. Hopefully some one will hack/code that for us. As far as I can tell from the website, they want to make the full ROM but there are currently no plans/people to do it.

Correct me if I am wrong, but isnt BS Zelda a MUCH smaller world? I want to say it is 8x8 instead of 8x16

Yeah, I think so. I think "Third Quest" uses the map from BS Zelda Map 1, and Fourth Quest uses Map 2. It's all a little confusing, actually. This is map 1...

So I think that is the map that Third Quest uses. Compared to the original game's "first quest"...

This is one of those games that you're going to want to take your time with. Trust me. Don't try to rush through it. Go exploring every chance you get. There's a lot of crazy, hidden things in the game, and the world really feels lived in and alive. ALttP is far and away my favorite Zelda title.
I have a ton of games listed at my store's site: Super Smash Video Games
