The Dr. Robotnick used to scare the shit out of me when I was a little kid. Now when my boss calls me, the ringtone is the robotnick theme.

Yes! It was one of the first smart uses of dynamic light-sourcing (or whatever the term for it was). Sure Quake had that but it wasn't scary. Resident Evil came close but when playing the PC port I could see the seams in the closet where the zombie was scripted to come out at Chris :?
