I tired to save her and she died my beloved Dreamcast...*sigh*

I pot tweaked her for a while and the she sprung into life for say 4 plays then just a moment ago she died refuses to keep reading discsso yeah the old girls dead and i really cant afford a new Dreamcast so yup ill never be able to finish Skies of Arcadia for a looooooong time :C

Still any other ideas on how to jump start her libido again would be helpful =D

Tough luck man, that sucks.

If you are looking for a new (used) dreamcast let me know, I have a console only in good shape that a friend gave to me. I tested it with my cables and a burned copy of Sonic Adventure and it worked like a charm. You sound short on monies (as am I) but if you have any trades I would be down for something.

Can't really afford another Dreamcast? Really? Hell, I got a used one on here for $12, so I'm certain you can find one if you just put a posting out in the B/S/T thread.

Sorry for your loss. I lost a Dreamcast years ago to a lightening storm.

Yeah if all you need is the console deck I'm sure you can get one cheap. You've already got the cords, controllers, vmus, etc. You can EVEN sell the broken one to start to offset the cost of the already cheap replacement.

Please don't make posts like these,
its a nightmare for me, I always thinks about this , that my dreamcast is going to die.

I don't mind paying $100 for a new dreamcast, as long as it will play backups, but newer ones won't. They need to be manufactured before December 2000 or something like that
