PS2 DVD Lock

Hey guys yesterday night I was going to watch a DVD with the girlfriend but I didn't have a DVD player in my room. No biggie, so I brought up the PS2 slim popped in the disc and it asked me for a password. Of course I had no idea what it was since I got the thing used. So I ran back downstairs to try another PS2. This one needed a password as well. Long story short, after lugging 3 more PS2s I decided to just grab an xbox lol. So my question is does anybody know how to get rid of the lock without knowing the password? If not is there some sort of standard password that every PS2 came with? I'm bound to have one that didn't get it's password changed from the original one. Anyways sorry if this was asked before, when I searched "PS2 + password" I don't come up with anything.

Looks like the defaults are 1111 or 7444. If that doesn't work, try method 2.
