An Odd Convorsation About Dreamcast

ZombiexPanda: You really are only finding the old things. This works like 20-100x better on the Xbox.
Abeisgreat: The xbox is an awful system made by a monopoly at least the dreamcast has some dignity
ZombiexPanda: And is dead. Completely dead. What I love about Xbox is that I can FTP to it, and I can actually find parts for them easily.
abeisgreat: 1) Its not dead commecial games are still produced and it is still manufactured. 2) You dont need chips or anything like that for most dreamcasts they come pre-hacked!
ZombiexPanda: 1) They stopped producing games for the Dreamcast. 2) Neither do I. All you need is a copy of SplinterCell or Mech Assault to hack an Xbox. Mine runs an N64 Emulator chop-free.
Abeisgreat: 1) No they didnt. They still make commecial games for example Cool Herders, that is a commercial game recently released. 2) Well hacking dreamcasts is completely legal and simple.

I just thought it was an odd convorsation worth posting on a retro forum

I want two xboxs though... two steel battalion sets is just as expensive as finding two sets of saturn twinsticks.

abeisgreat: any reason to personally hate Gates? Did he like, kill your dad and rape your mom? I use OSX at home and prefer to avoid Windows products, but I have no personal animosity against the company, or especially against Bill Gates himself. I have an xbox, which I bought used. If you mod it and use it for emulation, etc, I don't really see how that's helping Microsoft at all. The hardware is really decent, and especially if you use it as a media center. Don't let your blind rage for what BG did to your family stop you from using some really decent hardware in ways that don't benefit the company in any way.
