Cheapest Microsoft Office?

I need to purchase a Microsoft Office suite that contains Access. I keep trying the student discount through their site with my student email but it is just not going through. I have been trying off and on for months. I even contacted customer support and have not heard back from them either. Anyone know the cheapest place to pick this up?

Get the student discount if you can. If it isn't working for you talk to someone at your school (preferably anyone working/teaching over in the IT building).

The student discounted version is the cheapest one I've seen.

I know. Here is my theory. My school sells office suites in the book store for more than you can get it with a student discount. I think they block the emails on purpose so people buy it from them. Conpiracy theory? *Shrug*

I thought about that but I am taking Intergrated Computer Application which is basically teaching you to use MS Office 2007 and combine and transfer files and stuff. Fun stuff, huh? Last semester when I had to take Computer Applications and spend my times making word/excell/acces/power point documents I wanted to gouge my eyeballs out. B-O-R-I-N-G S-H-I-T.

No, there's no Access component in OO.org. If you need a free database, there's mysql and postgresql. I've used OO.org's powerpoint equivalent ("Impress" I think?), but I always liked LaTeX Beamer myself.

Just download Vuze and get it illegally. Who cares? They shouldn't be charging that much in the first place.

Have you tried doing a google search like "buy microsoft office 2007" ? There are some websites that sell regular as well as academic editions of Office. If you're a student, then you should be able to buy the student version without moral qualms.
