They're pretty hard to get I believe, mostly because they only serve to play imported games, and most people chose to just use downloaded boot discs to play those.

You can get a modchip from here:
http://home.clara.net/robwebb/shop/dc/dc.htm

... and its installation guide is here:
http://home.clara.net/robwebb/shop/dc/dcchipguide.htm

But yeah, although it can play imports from any region, the only advantage really is that it removes the hassle of using a boot disc to play an import.

I fixed one of your links. They both pointed to the same page. Anyways are these guys trustworthy? And I notice they are a UK seller.

Thanks for fixing the link. I've never dealt with this store, but from looking at the eBay feedback of the guy who runs it, he looks like a trustworthy seller (only one negative piece of feedback in 7 years):
http://feedback.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI ... ckAsSeller

Also, on the order page he says that he ships worldwide. I know that the usual rule of thumb is that, if the website doesn't look good, then the service will probably be poor too. Yes, the web design isn't exactly stellar, but I don't think this is indicative of the quality of the service - he says that he runs the service as a hobby.

Would anyone who has purchased from there like to comment?

Well awesome job finding them. That rule doesn't always apply. I've almost bought from sites with slick professional layouts, but then noticed reseller ratings of 1's and 2's out of 10.
