Sounds like me and the reviewer had the exact same opinions of the first game (the open-world aspect was completely pointless and thoroughly pissed me off). But it also sounds like they fixed almost everything that was wrong with the first game. If it ends up getting some more positive reviews like this one I might end up picking it up.
