Ive started drinking a lot more tea than coffee recently – thanks to being able to have a electric teapot at my desk at work. I know my way around most of the Asian teas I can purchase locally, Sunflower and Gunpowder being my favorite two currently. But my knowledge of British teas is very poor and I would like to fix that.
I was told to buy Twilingers, but all I can find of theres locally is the Breakfast tea, which I am not a huge fan of. A coworker gave me a diamond of PG Tips but apparently the only store that carries that locally is undergoing renovations and is closed for the next few months.
So do any of yall have suggestions for a johnny who is trying to expand his tastes in tea?

Re: A question for the tea drinkers
Where I'm from in Texas we just drink sweet iced Lipton tea. I have never had a taste for hot teas. Not much help from me, sorry.

Re: A question for the tea drinkers
Im from Atlanta, so I understand the sweet tea dominance. Up until recently I was a heavy coffee drinker. Doc said I had to lay off of it for a while and suggested hot tea instead. But I am not satisfied with Bigelow - though I do love their Lemon Lift.

Sorry to double post, had to use that opportunity.
What do you look for in the flavor of a tea?
I only ask because tea drinkers seem to be bigger critics than cigar critics, and possibly video game critics.
