Hhhmmm, my black Game Cube controller finally broke after years of intense use and I replaced it with a silver and have had zero problems.

Its not to say they aren't good. They just tend to need repairs sooner for the L and R. Maybe after 3 or 4 years of use compared to Blacks general 5. At least from my experience.

Oh, no I didn't mean to sound like I was questioning you, I am concerned that my controller is going to be breaking down soon :).

The PS2 controller adapter I posted earlier lacks analog shoulder button capability. That would be a problem for say Mario Sunshine which requires it.
