Re: Lode Runner
I love the game to pieces, but I agree it is a cruel mistress who likes to beat the heart and soul out of children in the middle of the night with a bit of lamp cord.

I feel so sorry for bomberman that he went through all of those levels, overcoming incredible odds to be human, and then his reward is to be turned into lode runner and killed over and over by those little zombie things.

Definitely a love/hate relationship for me. Oh well after venting I finally beat stage 4 after an hour of pain. Woohoo 5 more stages to go.

Playing it on XBLA. It's my first experience with a lode runner game.

Re: Lode Runner
I can't comment on the XBLA game but I've played it on Atari 800 and the PC. Most recently on the PC, I got to somewhere around level 180 with about 20 more levels to go. Very good thinking game. I haven't played it for a few months though. It's a great classic game IMO.
Re: Lode Runner
The legend returns/mad monks revenge is the shit. Not really sure how hard it actually was since I haven't played it in a long time, but I spent most of the time in the level editor anyway.
