Replace Nomad DC IN jack

Post by ssnik992 »

I have a Nomad with a finicky DC IN jack. In an attempt to repair it, I accidentally damaged it beyond repair. Does anyone know where I could acquire a replacement online, or have an nonworking Nomad I could salvage for parts?
Thanks!

Pics would be good, it may possibly be salvageable if the traces on the board weren't completely destroyed.

I don't think I was clear enough in my original post. The jack itself, not any part of the board, is what is damaged. The rest of the Nomad is working fine, AFAIK. I just need to find a replacement for the jack.

What is "damaged" to you?

Like I said before, pics would GREATLY help in determining whether it's completely dead or possibly salvageable.

Sweet! Should I send a PM so we can work it out?

EDIT: Oh, and by damaged I mean the jack itself is somewhat melted. Completely busted.
