Atari Jaguar Power Brick Question

Post by ReddMcKnight »

OK. So I'm getting my Atari Jaguar today, but it's coming with a Third Party Power Brick and a Third Party RF Switch. Basically, I'd like to know if it's safe to use a Power Brick with a Voltage lower than 9V. If yes, how many Vs should it have?

Haven't played my Jaguar for over a year now, since soon after buying it on ebay. I believe you can run it off about 7.4v but would have to check, might be that was after a minor mod. You can easily wire the plug to composite and stereo audio if you like, I did it a while back. If you need pics or details, shoot me a PM and i'll open my Jaguar up and have a look for you.
