Yup, you have a bad image. I've heard that bad Saturn ISOs are very common on the web. One last thing I would try would be to repair the image (I've only seen this tested on the ones downloaded from Underground-gamer, though).

Download CDMage and open the Bin/Cue. If it finds 1 sector damaged, then repair it and it should work. If you got SFIII from UG, then this should work.

Yeah, when in doubt, get everything from Underground Gamer.

Does SSF have problems running graphics slowly. all my games are super slow. I have a feeling that it's because I'm running without a vid card, but epsxe runs just fine. Any suggestions.
Oh? well then. When will they be here? Now? SHHHHHHH!

SSF speed GREATLY depends on the speed of your processor and the amount of cores it has. What are you running it with?

At LEAST a Core 2 Duo for good performance. The faster/newer you go, the better.

I have a Core 2 Duo running at 2.4Ghz and I can run almost any saturn game and keep the FPS high. Really pushes it though...

Indeed, a Core 2 Duo is your cheapest option for solid fps. That extra core makes all the difference.
