It's not that it's from snesorama, it's that it's from TuxTheWise's DCRES release.

Nope. I don't know where else to get the the DCRES releases except directly from TheTuxWise. I just checked the link, and it was working for me. Perhaps it's a problem with your browser, try using a different browser and see if that works.

Or you could try using a download manager (which is better for multi part files anyway). I use JDownloader (recommended by TuxTheWise) with no problems.

Personally, I use Free Rapid Downloader which will handle Rapidshare, Megaupload, and bunch more pretty well.

For the love of god please don't use Discjuggler, it's a pos. Just use Alcohol 120%, which is great for burning most games and has a free trial, or Nero. They're both much better programs are are good for more than just DC games.

Discjuggler is the best software for burning DC games. It's free forever (it is a limited trial, but it does everything you need without paying for it) Alcohol 120% costs money to use after it's initial trial, and Nero Express Essentials (the free version of Nero) is a complete piece of crap. In fact the full blown version of Nero isn't much better.

If discjuggler doesn't work for you then I suggest you use CDBurner XP, it's the best burning software on Windows and best of all, it's completely free.

The later versions of Nero do not burn DC games correctly, so best to steer clear.

DJ has always been the standard for burning DC games, that's why most everything including homebrew is released as .cdi images. Going on 10 years now and even the latest versions of DJ burn them without any issues.

I personally recommend BootDreams though because it was designed to burn DC images and it is also free.

Yeah, I find this to be so true. It seems the gold standards are:

Dreamcast - Disc Juggler
Gamecube/Wii - Imgburn
Saturn - Alcohol 120%

Not sure about PS1/PS2.

Since most PS1/2 images are ISOs, I just use K3B.

^ PS1 is usually CCD format. As for Dreamcast, Gamecube and Saturn, I just use IMG Burn for all of them. For DC I mount the CDI and rip it to BIN/CUE and then burn it, for Gamecube I rename the extension to .iso and burn it, and for Saturn I just burn the (hopefully) BIN/CUE or fix and up and burn the ISO/mp3/CUE.

Boot Dreams is awesome, and it's what I use to use to burn CDI's. But after I realized you can just rip the CDI to BIN/CUE I've been doing that ever since.

Where have you found PS1 games as CCDs? I go to snesorama and mostly found ISOs or BIN/CUEs.
