So I suck at Street Fighter....HELP
Re: So I suck at Street Fighter....HELP
Another way to pull off the 360 motions (or 720) is to jump at your opponent and do the spin in mid air. It takes a bit of practice to time it so that you finish the spin when you land, but it will also prevent you from jumping in the middle.

Obviously, don't do this EVERYTIME, since your opponent will just know what is coming and simply teleport or backdash out of the way and counter.MrPopo wrote:Another way to pull off the 360 motions (or 720) is to jump at your opponent and do the spin in mid air. This method also works for Charge characters like Blanka or Guile. Don't be that guy who is constantly crouching or moving away from your opponent. They give charge characters a bad name, they're also ridiculously predictable. Jump towards whilst holding your charge direction, throw a HP or a HK, then a crouch LP and then do your special move. Helps to mix it up a little, obviously if you do this all the time the it's just as bad as holding away forever and a day. Remember to use combos to mask the charge. That's the key to these kinds of characters.

Yeah, basically, you'll always want to hide your moves, regardless of what character you are playing as - although it's especially important with charge characters.
Even with Shotos, you shouldn't make your moves too obvious by visibly bobbing up and down when you're about to do a Shoryuken or something.

Sometimes I let people see me do something like that so they think I am going for that and then come through with something else.the7k wrote:Yeah, basically, you'll always want to hide your moves, regardless of what character you are playing as - although it's especially important with charge characters.
