The world is full of crazies. It is just so extremely odd that people like him have a following in the US. Rush Limbaugh(however it is spelled) was spouting his mouth off about Obamas fast reaction also. Guess we should have taken the hurricane Katrina approach to it. I remember being in the Superdome for Katrina. It sucked. I imagine this is a whole lot worse.

I completely agree. It's people like this that give Christians a bad name. There's always crazy extremists in any debate, and this guy is just plain embarrassing to anyone involved.

Along with this Pat Robertson crap, I read yesterday some news about the Haitian consul in Brazil (who is just a Brazilian guy) spouting bullshit left and right.

He was going to give an interview to a news show and, not knowing he was already being filmed, started commenting on the earthquake:

"The disaster there is good for us here, people get to know us. I think that is because they deal with "macumba" or something. The Africans themselves are cursed. Every place where there are Africans is fucked."

[Note: "macumba" is a pejorative term meaning black witchcraft. The guy was referencing Voodoo, which is predominant in Haiti.]
