My house burned down :(

Post by fox099 »

Hey everyone. Last night at 4:58PM my house burned down. I was the only one home at the time and was able to escape with no injury, besides slipping on the pavement and hurting my hand. I am going back in today to see what I can salvage, but I will probably be selling any of my video games that are unaffected to pay for getting my life back on track. Everyone stay tuned!

I very sorry for what has happened, but I'm pretty sure you'll recover from it. Think on the bright side, you lived. To help you, I'll buy at least one thing from you

Oh, I'm so afraid of that happening. I love my stuff. I feel bad for you. :(

Wow, that really blows. I'm sorry to hear about that.

Do you know how the fire got started? Did your smoke detectors go off?

Stuff can and will be replaced, family cannot. Be grateful that they all got out - I am glad that you did aswell. Life seems to be hating on you pretty hard right now and you have my condolences.

Oh my God, I'm so sorry to hear about the fire.

My grandmother lost her house back in '93 to Hurricane Emily. She and my grandpa were alright, but just the shock of seeing everything like that.

But I hope things turn around for you, I really do.

*hug*

First off, I'm truly sorry to hear about that. I can only imagine how shitty losing your home feels. I live in a old house so I live with that fear all the time. I'll assume it was the fire on Harlow St. I saw the news report, looks like the fire and water did some major damage to the home according to the video. When you should decide to sell your stuff, I'll be sure to buy some stuff to help. Again, I'm sorry to hear about your home and glad to hear no one was hurt.

Wow, I cant imagine what you must be feeling right now.

I know that your least concern is your game collection at this point, but when you feel up to rebuilding your collection look at my list and if you want/need anything I'll throw you a couple freebies.

Like everyone else has said, just be grateful that no one got hurt.

Lastly, did you have insurance? If not I can help you prepare some solid insurance in the future. I have had renters insurance and the coverage is the same as home owners insurance and I know how to make sure your stuff is covered in the future.

Good Luck.
