Hey everybody. Been a lurker for awhile; think I came across the site when I was looking for info on modding a Saturn. I don't usually participate on boards, but the crowd and atmosphere seems relaxed and inviting. I'd say the 'Together Retro' posts are what really sucked me into the site.

Nah, it's not as interesting as you think. It was New Year's Eve, and I was staying at my girlfriend's place. She and her roommate invited over a bunch of folks, one of which was capn1time, and we got to talking about video games and the site. Then he got drunk and passed out on the couch...and then immediately proceeded to slip off the couch and faceplant. More than once.

hey everyone,

Well I finally decided to join. So uh, yeah. I guess I should put together some lame introduction that's identical to all the others in this thread. I found this site through a link to the hidden gems articles and since then this site has really inspired me to start picking up the consoles and games I never had as a kid. Anyways my collection probably doubled over the past year (mainly Sega, I grew up with Nintendo) and I've become addicted to hunting for deals in thrift stores and pawn shops and such (just found a complete boxed colecovision the other day). Let's see here...my favorite console is the snes, yeah.

hmm, what else. I'm in my third year of college, love skateboarding and snowboarding when I'm not playing games, and, um, i guess thats it.
