I know these are all mainstream names but hey, IMO GBA >/ SNES.
Did....
Did you just rank the GBA above the SNES, the greatest console EVER?
Best console, next to the Genesis. (Oh shit, am I going to get banned for that post, too?) I always considered the SNES and Genesis as the King and Queen of consoles, with the lovely SNES being the Queen.
I haven't played too many of the SNES to GBA games, but I know that Super Mario World and Yoshi's Island were better on the SNES. I remember playing DKC on the GBA, but that was on the shitty GBA.

Yes... Yes I did! Well I don't know there were a few games that never made it else where that I would like to play again such as Zombies but a majority of the games I remember (granted I was 4 to 7 so I didn't get the full effect of the SNES) were ported to the GBA. Lots other continued on the GBA so to me it is better in most cases than............the.........(ohhgodohhhgoodddddddOHHHGOdDDDD)..... The SNES.
Thing regarding superior originals over ports are still debatable. Some say ports are trash while originals are god but they are exactly the same other than maybe the voice Link get when he swings the sword or when Mario jumps. The extras are worth noting also but that should go without say, i speak about the original games thenselves, not Four Sword. The look and feel are the same for me with the added benefit lying down when I play or going out and playing on the go for example.
Wow went off topic real quick sorry to the original poster. The thing looks cool but I think the statement he said about most games using A and B is bullpoo. A lot of game would be unplayable on that. I'm waiting for someone to mod something like this and make Mario Paint playable on it.

I agree. Donkey Kong Country 2 is one game that I played recently that uses the extra buttons.
He did say he's putting controller ports on it, but come to think of it there's a rom hack of Mario Paint that adds controller support. Copy it to a flash cart or get Zig to do it up and it's good to go.
just found this page, i was the one who made this, and yea i know having a lack of controls is a problem, but my aim first was to see if i can fit it into a gameboy without changing the outside too much.
it now has a 25way port on the back, into this you can plug a small box (made from a gameboy 4 player adapter) which allows you to plug in two controllers and RCA leads if you want to plug it into the TV.
it was designed for travel, like on a plane where you can set it up and use the controller, rather than walking about with it,
oh and sorry if i am bringing a thread from the dead!
sure i will see if i can do that tomorrow, also a pic of the adapter for the controllers, problem is that being a japanese base, it doesn't work with my euro controllers, and i butchered the original ones to make it work, so i need to order some cheapo ebay hong kong ones to really demo it properly
