Game RE-Prints.....

Post by wclem »

Is there a database or a master list that someone, somewhere is keeping of these reprinted games?

It would be interesting to see how far this has gone.

If this is done somewhere else I apologize as I could not find it in the forums.

Looking at the www.gamequestdirect.com website should give you a good idea whats been reprinted.

I wasn't aware they ever reprinted games. How much reprinting goes on, anyway? I always thought that the games at gamequestdirect.com were just old copies that never sold.

Sometimes reprints happen. I know SMT: Nocturne got a reprint a while back, and Persona 2: EP got a reprint (which was amazing, since it was a PS1 game being reprinted during the PS3 era).

The first Disgaea got a reprint when the used prices skyrocketed.

so wait all the games on that site are just reprints? I am confused, for the fact that I saw greatest hits and that kind of thing...why reprint that vs an original copy? Only reason I ask is for the fact they had ALOT of games that I actually would love to own.
Yep, I know im the one ya love to hate.

based on an article I just read they are not all reprints it also seems like there is no list on what exactly are reprints by them and what are just old left over games

it is rather old but here it is

I think the fact that the games look exactly the same as the originals is cool but it would be nice to know what games they have reprinted so you can decide if you are over paying for a game that may not be as rare as it was in the past.

I actually had a meeting with some Sega execs. They were thinking about reprinting some game called Panzer Dragoon Saga. I told them not to bother though, looked like a crap game.
